I am a board certified clinical child and adolescent psychologist who has been licensed as a psychologist and licensed specialist in school psychology for over ten years.  During that time, I have worked with children, adolescents, and young adults (and with their families) in both school and clinical settings.  After completing my doctoral studies at Texas A&M University, I began my practice as a psychologist in the CyFair I.S.D. Department of Psychological Services.

For over five years I served multiple campuses, where I worked directly with students with significant emotional and behavioral needs across all grade levels-  from preschool to high school.  As part of my work, I conducted psychological evaluations for a wide range of emotional challenges. Some of the more common included cases of anxiety, depression, OCD, personality disorders, and thought disorders. I frequently addressed neurodevelopmental concerns such as ADHD, learning disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder.  I also provided counseling to students exhibiting severe emotional and behavioral challenges, consulted with parents and teachers, and provided trainings to teachers and administrators.   During my time at CyFair I.S.D., I supervised  APPIC Doctoral Candidate Interns from various university programs around the nation.

After more than five years in the public school sector, I transitioned into private practice in the River Oaks area of Houston.  During this time, I continued to conduct evaluations and provide therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of cognitive, behavioral, social, and emotional challenges.   I was also adjunct professor at the University of Houston, where I taught a graduate level course in Counseling Children.

In 2015 I relocated my practice to the Bryan/College Station area.  Since then, in addition to my clinical practice, I provide clinical supervision to advanced level doctoral practicum students, and provide expert witness testimony and consultation services to litigants.  As an expert, I  author reports of my findings and conclusions, and provide testimony in depositions, and in state and federal court.  Currently, I am chair of the Division of School, Child, and Adolescent Psychology of the Texas Psychological Association (TPA).  I am also honored to be past president of the Brazos Valley Psychological Association (BVPA).
